One of the first things they teach you in Kindergarten is to clean up after yourself. As kindergartners move from activity to activity, it becomes a natural process to pick up the toys, put away the blocks, put your crayons back where they go, and so on. Similarly, you want to get in the habit of keeping your database clean. A database or client list that’s full of bad contact information, folks that aren’t interested in your products, and typos doesn’t do you any good. Worse, since most systems require you to pay for the number of contacts, it could be costing you money.
