Mickey Straub, our founder, launched Sales Activity Management, both the company and industry, in 1995 to help improve the onboarding process and likelihood of success for talented new producers. He soon learned that the activity-based strategies had been used for years by industry icons/leaders to help new agents/advisors build and maintain a successful career, but under different names. So, he started learning from them and making SAM products customizable around each company’s unique culture and business took off. (He also wanted to make a difference in the industry, especially with retention, and provide managers with better tools to train and develop.)
